Founded in 2024 by Responsible AI pioneers Tal Hassner and Gary McCoy, WEIR is building technology from the ground up to help people safeguard their public identity—designed with privacy, security, and ease of use at its core.
This funding enables WEIR to expand access to our proprietary AI technology, getting it into more people’s hands. We’ll continue our fundamental research in identity, privacy and data sovereignty while adding experts in privacy, security, and human-centered design to our team.
